My name is Eric Odum AKA VerbalInfluence, but most people get lazy and call me Verb, *sigh* the fun of a stage name right? I’m 19 years old, at least as of initially writing this. Erm, let’s see. I was born October 13th, so that makes me a LIBRA–wait this is starting to sound real myspace–I mean facebook….
I’m a writer first and foremost, I do HIGHLY enjoy poetry/performance but my first love, and what I always return to, is story telling. I’m an aspiring novelist working on a trilogy of books, have been for the past few years so I’m trying to get that off the ground.
Poet, Mentor, Brother, Friend, Performer. I really am just looking to make a name for myself so that I can help other people. I was giving a lot of oppurtunities to get to the point that I am now and I really just want to spread the wealth.
I’m a 3 time member of the international youth slam poetry team.

How are you? You might find this to be quite random, coming from a person that you don’t know, but I just wanted to let you know I really enjoy reading your form of poems and written expression. If anyone feels the way I do whenever I read your works, you will definitely go far. You have a true talent and you get better and better. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
